# Claude

Claude reaches init.Tasks over MCP. You give it one address and approve on your phone.

The address is:

```text
https://mcp.inittasks.com/mcp
```

## Claude Code

Run this in a terminal:

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http init-tasks https://mcp.inittasks.com/mcp
```

Then ask Claude to list your tasks. It opens the approval flow the first time.

## Claude desktop and web

Open **Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector**, paste the address above, and save.

## Approve on your phone

Claude shows you a nine-digit code. Open init.Tasks on a device you already use, go to **Settings → account → encryption & devices → connected apps**, enter the code, and check it matches what Claude is showing.

Approve read-only unless you want Claude to change things. You can grant more later by connecting again.

// No password is typed into Claude. The approval happens in the app, on a device that already holds your encryption key.

## Check it worked

Ask Claude:

```text
What is in my init.Tasks inbox?
```

If it answers with your inbox, you are connected. If it says it has no access, the approval did not complete. Start again from the top.

## Turn it off

In init.Tasks, open **Settings → account → encryption & devices → connected apps** and revoke it. Claude loses access immediately.
