# ChatGPT

ChatGPT reaches init.Tasks over MCP, the same way Claude does. You give it one address and approve on your phone.

The address is:

```text
https://mcp.inittasks.com/mcp
```

## Add the connector

Open **Settings → Connectors → Create**, choose a remote MCP server, and paste the address above. ChatGPT asks you to sign in to it.

// Connectors are a paid-plan feature in ChatGPT, and the menu moves between releases. If you cannot find it, your plan may not include it yet.

## Approve on your phone

ChatGPT shows you a nine-digit code. Open init.Tasks on a device you already use, go to **Settings → account → encryption & devices → connected apps**, enter the code, and check it matches.

Approve read-only unless you want ChatGPT to change things.

## Check it worked

Ask ChatGPT:

```text
What is in my init.Tasks inbox?
```

An answer with your real inbox means you are connected.

## Turn it off

In init.Tasks, open **Settings → account → encryption & devices → connected apps** and revoke it. Removing the connector in ChatGPT also stops it, but revoking in the app is the one that ends the grant on the server.
